"How 'bout a lil' ultra-violence?

Well, link it’s been many a years since I’ve watched this Stanley Kubrick film. I decided to watch it again and review it as it was chosen by the DeFranco Nation Movie Club for this week picks. Man…it’s…disturbing. Seriously.

While it’s obviously dated, physician this ground-breaking film is to be commended for its stylish approach, injection the tackling of  justice vs. rehabilitation and a raw look into the mind of a sociopath. To hear more of my ultra-brilliant ramblings, click on the video below and enjoy. Don’t forget to make comments and, for Kubrick’s sake, subscribe already!

Oh and forgive me if I seem a little less “on-the-ball”. I taped this at 3:30 in the morning. The Critic was a tired lil’ camper.

  1. Thanks for your insightful albeit somewhat sleep-deprived review! Until I watched this I just thought it was the story of a violent group of Englishmen in white jumpsuits and army boots. 🙂

    • Well the outfits were pretty cool. I love the boller hats, the white suspenders, the jock-straps on the outside of the pants…I have an outfit just like it myself ;P
