One pleasant surprise this awards season is a refreshing film called, cheapest Silver Linings Playbook. If you’ve seen the movie poster you have probably assumed, more about like me, tadalafil that Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence star in just another predictable romantic comedy. On the poster both actors are shining perfection; eyes twinkling, smiles donned and hair perfectly in place. However, this film couldn’t be farther from that typical tripe. Spanish film maker, this site Jorge Torregrossa, drugs presented the world premiere of his first feature, Fin, at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. For those of you who aren’t good with other languages, Fin is spanish for “The End”. This suspenseful drama surrounding a reunion of old friends is, indeed, about the end of the world. Think of it as The Big Chill meets Left Behind (but without the dreadful acting styles of Kirk Cameron).

Allow me to start by declaring my great disdain for most spectator sports. Baseball, viagra sale football, urticaria hockey…the appeal of all the good ol’ American pastimes is lost on me. So, you won’t be surprised when I share with you that I also have zero interest in most sports movies. There are the rare exceptions (Field of Dreams, Slap shot, etc…) and for good reason; those are actually good movies. But for the most part I find sports films to be formulaic, contrived and emotionally hyped to the point where you need to shut off your brain to get the full effect.
